Robin: "Chameleon," she wrinkles her nose at him with a chuckle, but her sparkling eyes do take in a lot of sky and sea as she seats herself in the boat.

Vere: "Indeed," he acknowledges as he pushes the boat off the beach, then springs into it and takes the oars. "It is a valuable ability. I must trust to you to know the true me, for sometimes I myself am not so certain."

Robin: Chirping cheerfully, she continues as they stroll down to the boat,"That went well, I think. No blood, no screaming. A reasonable amount of threats."

Signy: "So, if I wanted to find out more about my mother, who should I talk to?"

Brennan: "Aside from the obvious answers of 'your brother,' and 'your father?'" Brennan
says. "I'd say your best bets are her brother Corwin for the idealized version."
